The class was created by Dr. Sheila Pontis in the spring of 2017 as a way to help students learn how to create visual explanations and communications that facilitate understanding. Each semester, the class has been possible thanks to the help of the following teaching assistants: Leen Katrib, You Wu, Kenny Chao and Prakash Murali.

While I still don’t love the amount of time it takes to make good design (wouldn’t it be nice if high quality could be produced quickly!!), this course have made me really start to enjoy information design.
